Drop Tracker Account and Data Deletion
Effective date: September 10, 2026
You may delete your Drop Tracker account and the information associated with it at any time. You can request deletion from inside the App or by contacting us by email.
Delete Your Account from Inside the App
- Open Drop Tracker.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
Your account access will be disabled immediately and you will be signed out. Deletion of the associated information from our live systems will be completed within 30 days.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the App, email info@eyedropshop.ca from the email address you used to create your account. Use Delete my account as the subject line.
We may ask you for information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity and protect your account from an unauthorized deletion request. Once your identity has been verified, we will disable the account and complete deletion from our live systems within 30 days.
Information That Will Be Deleted
We will delete the personal information associated with your account, including:
- Your App account and login details.
- The eye drops and eye care products you recorded.
- Your dosing schedules and reminder times.
- Your dose history.
- Your notification settings and device token.
- Support messages associated with your App account, unless we are legally required to retain them.
Deletion Timeline
- Account access: Disabled immediately after an in-App deletion request, or after we verify an emailed request.
- Live systems: Account information and eye care records are deleted within 30 days.
- Backups: Backup copies are overwritten on a rolling basis and fully removed within 90 days.
After requesting deletion, you will no longer be able to access your account or recover information that has been deleted.
Information We May Retain
We may retain information that applicable law requires us to keep and a minimal record showing that the deletion request was completed. This record is not linked to your eye care information. We will not retain your deleted eye care information for marketing or advertising.
